Dr. Ryan Kaltio
Dentist
Dr. Ryan Kaltio graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1993 at the top of his class. After completing a year long residency at Vancouver General and University of British Columbia hospitals, he began his Richmond BC dental practice in February, 1995. Committed to furthering his education in order to provide you with the best care and expertise possible, Dr. Kaltio attends yearly seminars and courses well above and beyond the dental licensing requirements.
He has obtained advanced training at some of the most prestigious advanced dental education institutes in the world in cosmetic dentistry, complex restorative dentistry and implant restoration. Dr. Kaltio is an avid snowboarder and world traveler.

Janice
Treatment Coordinator
Janice is a graduate of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, bringing 24 years of experience to our team, and has been with Dr. Kaltio since 2006. Janice started her career as a certified dental assistant and has since grown with the dental industry. Her goal is to help patients feel comfortable and understand their dental treatment and options. Janice was born in the Fiji Islands, raised in Calgary, and lived in Australia for a short time. In 2005, she moved to Richmond with her family where she enjoys reading, listening to music, yoga, and is an avid traveler, especially to her favorite destination Hawaii! She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog, as well as quality time with friends and family.
Natalia
Certified Dental Assistant
Natalia joined our Richmond BC dental practice in 2010. She was born in Ukraine where she worked as librarian. After immigrating to Canada Natalia graduated from Vancouver Community College as a certified dental assistant in 1999. She is a warm and compassionate person who truly loves working along side Dr. Kaltio to make sure you have the best experience possible while you are with us. Natalia has a very active life, in her spare time she loves to windsurf, snowboard, travel, exercise, and to attend movies, theatre and concerts.
Nina
Certified Dental Assistant
Nina was born and raised in Manila, Philippines until her entire family emigrated to Vancouver in 1994. She has been a certified dental assistant for the past two decades, assisting in general procedures as well as in orthodontics, implant and dental surgery.
Nina’s cool and calm demeanor makes her an indispensable member of the team. She enjoys connecting with patients and making sure they are at ease from the start to the end of any dental procedure.
Nina enjoys cooking, listening to jazz music, watching Broadway musicals and spending time with her family — her husband Arthur, her daughter Bianca, and their 8-year-old Bichpoo mix, Koda.
Vivian
Registered Dental Hygienist
Vivian was born and raised in Richmond. She graduated from UBC’s Dental Hygiene program with a Bachelor’s of Dental Science.
She is passionate about educating and working with patients, empowering them to achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. Vivian strives to make every appointment patient-centered, ensuring thorough and comfortable care. To stay up to date with new technologies and techniques while sharpening her skills, she dedicates time to attending various dental conferences and participating in numerous dental seminars.
When she’s not at work, Vivian is likely off exploring the world. A true foodie at heart, she loves trying new cuisines and experiences. She enjoys capturing her travels through photography and short videos, which she shares with friends and family. In her downtime, she also loves reading, doing crafts, and spending time at the park with her teacup poodle, Timbit.
Pauline
Registered Dental Hygienist
Pauline grew up in Richmond. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist since 2021.
She graduated from UBC’s four year Dental Hygiene Program with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Science.
Pauline’s goal for each appointment is to provide care that is kind, thorough and comfortable.
Outside of work, Pauline enjoys cooking, travelling, playing pickleball and spending time with friends and family.
Amber
Registered Dental Hygienist
Amber completed her Dental Hygiene Diploma at Vancouver Community College before earning her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of British Columbia. Since beginning her career in 2019, she has been providing care in a general dentistry setting, with a focus on creating a comfortable, personalized experience for every patient.
Growing up in the neighborhood, Amber was a patient of Dr. Kaltio herself—making her return to the clinic as a team member feel like coming home. She takes pride in getting to know each patient’s unique oral health needs to deliver comprehensive, effective, and gentle care.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, exploring new places, and diving into her latest do-it-yourself project.
